How to Get Rid of Cellulite: Don't Waste Time With These Methods

by Sydney Jaclyn

Everyone loves dimples! They're so cute. But you want them on the cheeks on YOUR FACE, not your butt. Cellulite is infamous for giving us dimples on our thighs, butts, and hips. Yeah, blech.

While there are plenty of methods to learn how to get rid of cellulite, I want to warn you away from the 'solutions' that don't work. All too often we see products advertised that promise to rid us of our cellulite and make us look like the latest Hollywood star! It's safe to assume that most of them are fake. Here are examples of the things that just don't work.

Creams and Lotions - Ah, yes, melt away your unsightly cellulite simply by massaging some cream on your thighs and rear. Not going to happen! What they may do is give us a temporary shrinkage of the fat cells, but they will return, like a bad ex-boyfriend.

Body Wraps - These could give you a temporary fix, but again, it's temporary. Very temporary. If anything, body wraps may even do negative things to your health. Switch off the television the next time you see an infomercial about these things.

Electric Muscle Stimulation - A dream come true, yes? Well, dream on. They tell us that we can simply strap it on, turn it on and sit down to watch television. Keep it up and your cellulite is all gone. Nope, sorry, that's a hoax too.

The real solution isn't so easy. If you really want to learn how to get rid of cellulite, you have to work for it. You eat right, avoid certain foods, and exercise to shrink up those fat cells. That's the only solution of any effectiveness that will reduce cellulite and leave our skin looking smooth. It's a raw deal, I know. But if we're determined, committed, and are driven to succeed, we'll have what it takes to get rid of those pesky dimples!

"Adaptogen: an agent that allows the body to counter adverse physical, chemical, or biological stressors by raising nonspecific resistance toward such stress, thus allowing the organism to “adapt” to the stressful circumstances".

Adaptogens have a normalizing effect on the body and are capable of either toning down the activity of hyperfunctioning systems or strengthening the activity of systems that are currently having a poor ability to respond adequately.

Many adaptogens contain polysaccharides that stimulate immune system components and have immune system enhancing benefits.
